I'm going to the gym...

Because if I write it, I'll feel held accountable.

Because I've forgotten that I live in the body of a 25 year old adult, not a 5 year old calorie-burning-inferno.

Because The Staff Sergeant keeps asking about those lofty plans I had to get in shape while he was gone.

Because he's in the gym daily and I don't want him to come home flaunting it and find that I am left with no counter argument.

Because of today's Nutella, Starburst Gummies, and heavy-on-the-chocolate chocolate milk.

Because I can't kick the blues...and working up a sweat is supposed to help.

working up a sweat will help with the blues. The hardest part is just getting yourself there. You can do it though, small goals.. start slow.

One does feel more compelled to work out when you write it down.

Oooh, it totally helps with the blues! Put on some good music and kick some @$$!

If you ever want to talk work outs, email me! I love the gym, lol!

Yes! During our first deployment when Jon left after R&R, I fell to my lowest point....sobbing and moping and the inability to snap out of it. A nice 4 mile run was a nice start to my recovery. I seriously felt a lot better after that! Runner's high!
